Talbot had an off year last year, but i am confident a bounce back year is imminent for the Oiler’s netminder. Talbot’s wife gave birth to twins during the season last year, so it is safe to assume Cam didn’t get much rest. The oiler’s defensive play should improve dramatically from last year as well.

Erik Karlsson
Ability to score is well talked about, and the transition to a new team is good for him. With all that said, Karlsson’s defense is not great, so his plus/minus rating could hurt you in your pool
Connor Mcdavid
Okay, so this is a no brainer. The guy is ranked first on all major rankings. He has lead the league in scoring for every season in which he has remained healthy, and he is still developing. Look for him to shoot more this year, as teams start taking away passing lanes to try and slow down his production. His speed will will create scoring chances, and if he improves his finishing ability he could lead the league in goal scoring as well as assists(which is all but a guarantee).
